In short: DiceCity games are provably fair. Each result is the HMAC-SHA256 of our server seed, your client seed and the bet number. You see the hash of our server seed before you bet. When you change your seed, we show the old server seed, so anyone can recompute the result and check it.

What does provably fair mean?

It means you can check a result yourself instead of trusting us. Before you bet, we show you the hash of our secret server seed. Your result comes from that seed, your own client seed and the bet number. When you change your seed, we show the old server seed. Hash it, compare, and recompute the result: it must match.

Is DiceCity legit?

DiceCity.com is licensed in Anjouan under licence number ALSI-032401017-FI3. What you can check today: every DiceCity game is provably fair, so you can verify any bet yourself, and each game's exact RTP is on this page.

Which DiceCity game has the best RTP?

Plinko, at up to 99.35%, depending on the rows and risk you pick. Next come Crash, Limbo, Slide and Wheel at 99.00%. Most other games pay 98.99%. The lowest is Roulette at 97.29%, apart from the Baccarat tie bet at 85.88%.

Can DiceCity change my result?

No. Your result comes from our server seed, your client seed and the bet number. You see the hash of our seed before you bet, so we can't swap it later. Your client seed is yours, so we can't pick a result for you. Each game's odds are set in its code.

Why 98.99% and not 99%?

Dice has 10,001 possible rolls, from 0.00 to 100.00. A win pays 99 divided by your chance. So the exact return is 9,900 out of 10,001, which is 98.99%. We show the exact number, not a rounded one.

Can I use another site's checker?

Yes, for the raw numbers. We use the same HMAC-SHA256 scheme as Stake: server seed, client seed and bet number. But each game turns those numbers into a result with its own rules, so use our checker to see the final result.

What about Blackjack?

Blackjack uses a seeded shuffle. The deck is set from a seed before the hand, and the seed is shown after the hand. The rules of the game do not change.

What is RTP?

RTP means return to player. It is the share of all bets a game pays back over a very long run. 99% means about $99 back for every $100 bet, on average over many bets. It is not a promise for one session.
