What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Sites can also keep data in your browser's local and session storage. This page covers both.
Cookies DiceCity needs
These keep the site working. Without them you can't stay signed in.
dc_session: keeps you signed in, on dicecity.com and its sub-domains. Kept for up to 400 days, or until you sign out.i18nextLng: remembers the language you chose. Kept for 1 year.
What the site keeps in your browser's storage
- Your sign-in: a copy of the sign-in token and your basic account details, so you stay signed in when you come back.
- The invite you arrived with: kept until you sign up, so whichever way you join carries it. Invite codes are secret, so they are removed from the address bar and from analytics.
- Where you came from: the campaign tag of the link that brought you, until you sign up.
- Your settings: panels you opened or closed, tips you have seen, when you last read the chat, and similar choices.
None of this is used to show you advertising.
Outside services
These set their own cookies or storage, and only while they are switched on for this site:
- PostHog (off on this site right now): product analytics, error reports and session replay (invite codes and secret fields are masked). Stores a ph_
_posthog cookie and local storage entries. - Google Analytics (off on this site right now): visit statistics. Stores _ga and ga
cookies. - Ahrefs Web Analytics (off on this site right now): visit statistics for search. Stores nothing, as its provider describes it.
- Intercom (off on this site right now): the live support chat. Stores intercom-* cookies.
- Cloudflare Turnstile (off on this site right now): checking that a sign-up or sign-in comes from a person, not a script. Stores short-lived cookies set by Cloudflare during the check.
- Google Sign-In (off on this site right now): signing in with Google, when you choose it. Stores cookies set by Google on its own domain.
- Telegram Login (off on this site right now): signing in with Telegram, when you choose it. Stores cookies set by Telegram on its own domain.
Your choices
DiceCity has no cookie banner yet, so there is no switch on the site for optional cookies. No analytics or support-chat service is switched on for this site right now, so only the cookies DiceCity needs are set.
You can see, block and delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the cookies DiceCity needs, you won't be able to stay signed in.
