Card games
Baccarat, HiLo and Video Poker, dealt by DiceCity's own game server.
Which card games does DiceCity have?
Three Originals are played with cards. Baccarat is punto banco: chips on Player, Banker or Tie, and the hand closer to 9 wins. HiLo turns one card at a time while you guess whether the next is higher, lower or the same. Video Poker is Jacks or Better: five cards, the ones you hold, one draw.
Do my decisions change the odds?
In Baccarat, no. Once the chips are down, the drawing rules decide every third card, so your only choices are where the chips go and how much they are worth. Banker wins a little more often than Player, which is why a Banker win pays a 5% commission, and Tie pays the most but carries by far the biggest house edge.
In HiLo, every guess is priced from its exact chance, so a safe guess on an Ace pays little and a long shot pays a lot. You can skip a card for free, and you can cash out after any right guess.
Video Poker is the one Original where the way you play changes the return. With the best hold on every hand it returns 98.94%; any other hold returns less.
Where do the cards come from?
Every card is worked out from your seeds before it is shown. Baccarat and HiLo draw each card from a full 52-card deck of its own, so the same card can turn up twice, as from an endless shoe. Video Poker deals all ten cards of a hand from one deck, so the cards you draw are never ones you were dealt.
Rotate your seeds and you can redeal any hand you played. The provably fair page shows how.
Which card game should I start with?
Baccarat asks nothing of you after the bet, HiLo is quick and easy to stop, and Video Poker rewards learning the holds. Each game's page has its full pay table and rules, so you can read them all before you play.
