What is Book of Gold at DiceCity?

Book of Gold is a reel game from the DiceCity Originals, built and run by DiceCity itself. It has 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 fixed lines that pay from left to right. Its theme is a sealed archive of gold.

Two symbols drive the game. The Golden Book is wild: it stands in for every symbol except the Gold Seal and doubles any line win it is part of. The Gold Seal is the scatter: it pays anywhere on the reels, and three or more of them start 15 Gold Spins. Before the first Gold Spin, the Book opens on a Chosen Symbol. During the feature, whenever that symbol lands on enough reels, it expands to fill them and pays on all 20 lines, even on reels that are not side by side.

How do you play Book of Gold?

Enter your stake in Bet amount. The smallest bet is worth $0.10, and ½ and 2× halve or double it.

Line wins pay from the first reel on the left. Only the highest win on each line pays, and wins on different lines add up.

The remaining symbols pay similar amounts, and Paytable and rules lists them all. A Chosen Symbol that expands over all five reels pays its 5-reel win on every one of the 20 lines.

Spins return 98.99% over time and feature buys also return 98.99%, both worked out exactly over every reel position. A bought feature pays back about 55.97× the bet on average, against its 56.54× price. A bet's total win is capped at 10,000× the bet. These are long-run averages, carried largely by rare features.

Any single bet also pays at most $10,000. In real-money play a Max spin bet note sits under the bet field, and the buy shows its own Max buy bet.

Is Book of Gold fair?

Yes. The paid spin and the whole feature that may follow come from one bet number, using DiceCity's provably fair seeds:

Server seed hash. Before you spin, you see the SHA-256 hash of a secret server seed. It fixes the outcome of the spin and any Gold Spins it starts.
Your client seed. Your own input. Change it to any text up to 64 characters.
The nonce. The bet's number on your seed pair, from 0 upwards.
How the reels stop. HMAC-SHA256 of the server seed with your client seed and nonce gives a stream of numbers. The first five set the reel stops; the next picks the Chosen Symbol; each Gold Spin reads the next five in order.
Checking after you rotate. Rotate the seed pair to reveal the old server seed and start a new pair at nonce 0. Hash the revealed seed, compare it with the hash you saw, then replay any bet spin by spin in the Verify tab.

Book of Gold uses the same seed pair as Gilded Ronin, Dice and most other DiceCity Originals, so one rotation covers them together. Plinko keeps a pair of its own.
